Students will learn how to use a CAD (Computer-aided Design) program, as well as learn about the engineering design process by mastering the controls of our Tinker Cad program to make their very own original pieces to print on our 3D printer!

2025 summer camps will run two themes: 3D Design & Printing and the Wonders of Life Science. Our 3D Design & Printing camp will run two sessions from July 7, 2025-July 11, 2025, and August 4, 2025-August 8, 2025, from 2:00PM-4:00PM with 30 minutes of museum play after the program. Our Wonders of Life Science camp will run two sessions from July 21, 2025-July 25, 2025, and August 18, 2025-August 22, 2025, from 2:00PM-4:00PM with 30 minutes of museum play after the program.

This is a 5-session class for 2nd-6th graders. If you book more than one session, you will receive a $25 discount. For Long Island Science Center members, please sign into your account for price adjustments.

Drop-off time starts at 1:50PM. Pick-up time begins at 4:00PM, and no later than 4:30PM.
